Meghan Markle is truly everything I personally hoped Melania Trump was going to be. Politics aside, I was ready for Melania to make over the fashion world and become fashion’s hottest name.
Sure, being married to Donald Trump might have limited the list of designers who’d want to dress her, but I always expected her to make the most out of her options; instead… she failed to deliver and impress. However, in walks Meghan Markle, the duchess that KNOWS how to become an instant fashion icon. Her looks are a rave on every fashion blog. Her looks are distinguished, studied and most importantly true to herself.
The minimalist duchess hasn’t really had any ‘bad’ looks but she’s had some looks that deserve a name drop. My first favourite has to be her look when she visited Sussex during early October, a leather skirt matched with an Armani coat is just a magical pairing. Maybe I think so because of the designer name, maybe it’s the colours…
The blue coat she wore for the ‘Together’ charity project is another standout. Her tuxedo style mini dress, when she attended Hamilton, is another win. Okay, maybe I just really like coats. Let me mention, my favourite dress look has to be the ‘controversial’ off the shoulder dress she wore to the trooping the colour ceremony. She might have had to stand behind Kate but she was the centre of attention.
