A deep love for the outdoors and sporting activities have played a pivotal role in shaping my career in the field of adventure tourism and strengthened my love for my country. I hope, with my endeavours through Rove, the travel and tourism company I co-founded with Hamed Al Saadi and Moutassim Al Balushi, Oman will soon occupy a prime place in the global tourism horizon as THE destination for adventure travel and cultural experiences.
I strongly believe that it is love and passion for one’s career that truly gears one to achieve success. Rove Adventures is proof of that. Launched in 2017, we have, in a short span of time, established our credentials as a reliable tourism company, run by a team of young Omanis who are driven by their love for the outdoors and their mission to promote Oman’s amazing travel and tourism potentials. We want visitors from all over the world to discover and explore Oman like never before and experience the incredible natural wealth of the country from close quarters.
Personally, it has been my nurtured dream to make Oman the top adventure destination of the Middle East. Oman’s rich natural heritage and culture, coupled with its diverse geographical terrain and the panorama of scenic locales, have distinguished it as a nature lover’s haven. Through Rove, we have been instrumental in creating diverse tourism opportunities for our clients; we have customised a variety of tourism options to explore hidden jewels of Oman – be it wadis, mountains, caves, beaches or seas – and also promote outdoor activities among both domestic and international tourists. Our aim is to provide right platforms to understand the importance of fitness and enjoy physical health and mental well-being.
Being a 100 percent Omani owned company, we are equipped to provide our clients with highest measures of safety and well-being with our team of qualified and talented instructors and coaches. We have a strong network of local guides across the country, through whom we are able to provide some of the best experiences in tourism. We follow a customer-centric approach, as we feel it is important to kindle a love for the country among our clients too. Our primary objective is to provide them with lifetime experience of enjoying nature, which will, undoubtedly make them fall in love with Oman’s natural bounty. In my capacity as the founder of Rove, I am driven by my goal of inculcating a love for the outdoors among our many clients.
With the tourism industry poised to play a central role in the economy of the country, we at Rove are better placed to contribute to the sector and help the economy by creating job opportunities as well as attracting international investments. Of course, things have not always been easy. We had our share of challenges in attracting customers, but our consistent approach and exceptional service has set us on the right footing. I believe things are bound to work when you have a strong love for the nature and are able to communicate it to like-minded customers.
