SalamAir’s first non-stop flight from Muscat to Alexandria landed in Borg El Arab International Airport on March 2nd, marking the airline’s first destination in Egypt. SalamAir OV527, operated by an Airbus A320neo, departed Muscat International Airport following a special celebration ceremony commemorating the debut of this route. SalamAir also held a special event in Alexandria with participation of tourism and travel partners, as well as a host of local aviation industry representatives. SalamAir will operate direct flights to Alexandria three times a week and daily flights starting May 1st. Flights will depart from Muscat at 20:35 and arrive in Alexandria at 23:45; it will depart Alexandria at 00:30 arriving in Muscat at 06:55.
Muscat Bay Launches Interest-Free Five-Year Payment Plan
Muscat Bay officially announced the launch of a five-year payment plan with zero percent interest, at the premier resort village during a press conference. The first of its kind in the Sultanate, the payment plan allows for potential homeowners to purchase select residences by covering 40 percent of the cost of the home. The residences are ready to move into, and the remaining 60 percent of the payment will be covered over a period of five years with no interest. Speaking on the occasion, Sheikh Hamood bin Sultan Al Hosni, CEO of Muscat Bay, said, “I am confident that the new payment plan will appeal to potential homeowners looking to invest in the limited real estate at one of the most exclusive ITCs in the region.”
