A’Namaa Poultry signs with a consortium of WPP group

A’Namaa Poultry Co. SAOC, the RO100 million governmental project to drive food security and create new job opportunities for Omani youth, has signed a consortium agreement with WPP, the world’s leading creative transformation company, led by Superunion, the global brand agency, for a comprehensive branding exercise, covering corporate and products, that will position A’Namaa as a market leader in the sector. In the presence of Eng. Saleh bin Mohammed al Shanfari, CEO of Oman Food Investment Holding Co. SAOC and Chairman of A’Namaa Poultry Co. SAOC, the agreement was signed in Muscat by Eng. Yaqoob Mansoor Al Ruqaishi, CEO of A’Namaa Poultry Co. SAOC, and Majdoleen Till, Managing Director for the Middle East and the Gulf region of Superunion. The mandate of the agreement is to drive a comprehensive branding exercise with detailed marketing strategy for A’Namaa Poultry Co. SAOC.

IVI Fertility’s Muscat Annual Conference 2020

The IVI Fertility Muscat Annual Conference 2020, organised by IVI Middle East Fertility Clinic, concluded on a high note recently, with regional and global experts, industry leaders, and various key people in reproductive medicine sharing insights on the latest developments and trends. Some of the key topics brought to focus were Basic Ovarian Physiology and Ageing, Endometriosis and Infertility and Embryo Transfer in 2020: Fresh vs. Frozen. Several Gynaecologists, Embryologists, In-vitro Fertilisation (IVF) experts, and other fertility specialists participated in the interactive conference titled ‘Infertility Update: A Review of Common Practice for the Gynaecologist’ at Crowne Plaza Qurum Heights. They discussed some of the most challenging infertility concerns, common practices and treatments, and industry expectations. The attendees also took the opportunity to engage with guest speakers and network with international experts. 

Bank Muscat commences evaluation of Green Sports 2020 applications

Bank Muscat has announced that its CSR & Sustainability team is currently evaluating the applications to the 2020 edition of the very popular Green Sports programme. A large number of applications from different teams were earlier accepted at the bank’s head office along with all the requisite supporting documents during a month-long registration process. Once the evaluation process is over, the bank will announce the 15 successful teams whose football fields will be developed in 2020 as part of the Green Sports programme. The Green Sports programme launched by Bank Muscat in 2012 gained further momentum in 2019 with a total of 108 sports teams across the Sultanate benefiting from the support till date. The Green Sports programme aims to develop sustainable sports infrastructure across all parts of the Sultanate so as to promote Omani youth in developing into highly successful and talented sportspersons.
