Time To Turn Your Life Around

Yes, it is possible to turn your life around, completely change your perspective of life for better. Especially with the raging pandemic this year we have had enough time to ponder over what is important for us and what is not. Of course, we are never going to hug the old way again, but we will value friends and families who have been with us through these tough times.

And with the year coming to end why not actually turn your life around? Why not use this opportunity to bring in radical changes in our life for better?

This can be as simple as making changes in your priorities, your relationships with family, friends, or colleagues. It could even be as easy as changing your eating habits, exercise or looks. A full turn for better in general everyday lifestyle.

In this issue we feature a few individuals who have managed to turn their lives around in different ways, whether in physical appearance or with social presence or by simply serving coffee.

Obesity has reached epidemic proportions globally, with at least 2.8 million people dying each year because of health complications related to being overweight or obese. While tackling obesity can be a complex issue, it is, in most cases, preventable or reversible. People who have overcome obesity have proven to live much more fulfilling and happier lives after successfully losing weight. This month, in our Men’s special issue, we catch up with His Highness Sayyid Muadh Al Said, who is one such person to have overcome this hurdle, to tell his story.

Also, in this month’s issue we speak with Waheed Al Balushi, a motivational speaker, an entrepreneur, avid traveller and recently one of the most successful Omani social media stars about how he managed to turn into a social media influencer so quickly and how his life has changed since.

We chat with the Founder and CEO of Brigit’s Coffee, Elvis Daniel Mathews, to learn of the story behind one of the most popular coffee shops in Muscat. We also catch up with Hussam Al Lawati, the Country Manager and Co-Founder of O-Screen Oman, the latest app to be launched in Oman in collaboration with Ooredoo.

This issue also sees us travel to post lockdown Dubai to experience attractions beyond just shopping and to witness first-hand just how much tourism has changed within the city post lockdown. Aside from the aforementioned pieces, we also feature several more engaging topics to keep your eye glued to the pages this month. Read on, it may just help turn your life around.
