Inspired by Persian rugs and their mystical beauty, Bthaina’s latest collection, entitled Persian Spell, references the elaborate patterns and vibrant colours of the traditional carpets
Blending bold colours, exquisite hand embroidery and fluid silhouettes, this collection evokes a sense of elegant splendour. Vibrant hues of royal blue, emerald green, forest, amethyst and blue grey make up the bold colour palette. Fluid kaftans and jalabiyas feature embellished capes, multi coloured tiered layers and fluted sleeves.
Gold thread is exquisitely embroidered into flower patterns while hand embellished sequins adorn tulle layers. Tone on tone rope is knotted and threaded into unique patterns while tassels, tulle and fringes add a playful element.
Combining intricate details with traditional styles, this collection epitomizes mystical femininity and timeless elegance.

Buthaina Al Zadjali was a part of an exciting new concept of modest fashion, at the ‘Modest Fashion Festival’ in London, recently. As a brand, Bthaina can be defined as modern and feminine with exquisite details for women worldwide. The festival proved to be an excellent platform for the designer since she was able to act as brand ambassador of the Omani heritage.
