The new line of abayas from Bthaina compliments the brand’s seasonal collections, with new styles and colour options to be added throughout the year. Launching for Autumn/Winter 2018, the debut season fuses intricate details with flowy silhouettes. The colour palette of charcoal grey is highlighted with hand embellished metallic gold threads in diamond and geometric patterns. Timeless and effortlessly elegant, the collection features 11 styles suitable for both day and evening occasions.

I have been designing abayas for a long time at the request of my regular clients in Oman. I decided that now is the right time to turn these one off designs into a regular line which compliments my seasonal collections. I will also offer them to my overseas clients and international stockists. The introduction of Abayas by Bthaina is part of my brand vision to create a one stop destination for fashion lovers.”

Buthaina Al Zadjali started her label in 2010, designing kaftans and abayas for a few select customers. After an overwhelmingly positive response, she opened her first boutique in 2011. Passionate about art and fashion, Buthaina loves pattern and colour and finding new ways to recreate traditional Omani techniques. Her dream is to grow the brand internationally and to create a one stop destination for fashion and art lovers.
In 2017, Bthaina underwent a rebranding to give the label a refreshed and modern aesthetic.
