The GEO Foundation is an international not-for-profit dedicated to helping golf to deliver and be recognised for a positive impact for people and nature. Inspiring golf to fully embrace sustainability and promoting a shared understanding of issues and solutions.

In recent years, the course managers at Al Mouj Golf have undertaken significant work to enhance the natural character and biodiversity of the course, also reducing the consumption of water and other vital natural resources, while also contributing to national goals on priority issues such as combating desertification; protecting groundwater supplies; converting to clean, renewable energy; stimulating the circular economy; and engaging youth and communities in healthy recreation. Their ever-strengthening commitment, action, and results impressed the GEO Foundation and ensured that Al Mouj Golf would retain its GEO Certified distinction.

ODP launches Esign – an electronic signature document management solution

Oman Data Park (ODP) has launched Esign – an Oman based, secure e-signature and document management solution, in compliance with the rules and regulations of the Sultanate of Oman, to enable signing of documents electronically. It can substitute the process of signing on paper and scanning it as well as other traditional methods of transactions.

The Corona pandemic has led to an increase in the use of electronic transactions. This crisis has led to an urgent necessity for the use of electronic signature. ODP’s Esign solution helps replace the use of paper completely. The users of this solution will be able to request documents and sign them remotely from anywhere in the world, without compromising on the privacy of the transactions.

Bank Muscat to Celebrate Omani Women’s Day with OMR 100,000 Special Zeinah draw

Bank Muscat, in step with its vision ‘To serve you better, everyday’ and commitment to partnership in encouraging a savings culture in Oman, will reward 50 Zeinah women customers at a special Al Mazyona prize draw to celebrate the Omani Women’s Day on October 17.
