Artwork by inspiring Omani female painter, Safiya Al Bahlani, has been chosen to brand Al Mouj Muscat’s environmentally-friendly transportation buggies as part of the company’s initiative to support local artists in the Sultanate. The new initiative is part of Al Mouj Muscat’s wider Corporate Social Responsibility plan and will see the destination select different local artists to showcase their artwork on The Walk Buggies – a free buggy service operating within The Walk. Safiya Al Bahlani is an Omani artist, creative designer, and inspirational and motivational speaker who is renowned for painting inspirational poetry on canvas to motivate fellow Omanis with her challenging life story.
Bank Muscat Chief Executive Ranked Among Top CEOs in GCC Region
In recognition of outstanding contributions to the banking and financial sector in Oman and the GCC region, Abdul Razak Ali Issa, Chief Executive of Bank Muscat, has earned a prominent position among the top CEOs in the GCC region. For the third consecutive year, Abdul Razak shared honours with the Top CEOs in the GCC region. The ranking was done by leading business publication group Mediaquest, in association with Insead Business School and Hawkamah Corporate Governance Institute. Lulu Group Set To Open Nujum Al Amerat Mall
Driven to create an innovative shopping experience, LuLu Group International is all set to open its new ‘Nujum’ brand of shopping mall in Al Amerat. Announcing the same at a press conference, a spokesperson for LuLu Group International said construction of the mid-sized community mall, which is being developed under the ‘Nujum’ brand for the first time in Oman, has already begun. Nujum Al Amerat Mall will have entertainment centres with family-orientated fun and leisure experiences, fine dining options, a selection of prestigious retailing brands for shoppers, and also LuLu Group International’s hypermarket and department stores.
Panasonic Launches New R410 Split, Cassette and Duct AC Models
Panasonic has launched its newest range of residential and commercial air conditioner lineup of cassette and ducted models in Oman, in association with its local partner, Oman Marketing and Services Company (OMASCO). Complementing the brand’s highly energy-efficient split and VRF series, this new lineup will give a full range of cooling solutions for most residential and commercial applications. The new models qualify according to the most stringent energy regulations existing in the region and deliver the highest EER (Energy Efficiency Ratio) rating across the range. They come equipped with DC fan motors, gold fins for higher corrosion resistance and long piping length capability for high-rise buildings. The lineup is available in capacities starting from 24K BTU up to 57K BTU.
