Cadillac has taken the next step in the realignment of its sedan portfolio with the introduction of the first-ever CT4 sport sedan to the Middle East. A game changer in the luxury-sedan segment, the 2020 Cadillac CT4 is poised to appeal to a new generation of customers and is now available for purchase from select Cadillac dealerships in the Middle East.
The sedan offers plenty for the senses, starting with its RWD proportions and an athletic design. A bold colour-and-trim palette featuring 12 exterior colour options along with eight distinct interior colour, material and trim options, customers will have no trouble making a statement.
Driven by an all-turbocharged propulsion portfolio and leveraging Cadillac’s award-winning rear-wheel-drive architecture (AWD available on the Luxury trim), the CT4 delivers a driving experience unmatched by front-drive competitors.
Bentley’s Great Eight Finishes Production
The mighty Bentley 6¾-litre V8 engine – the longest serving V8 design in continuous production – has finally reached the end of its handcrafted manufacturing run. The final engine was assembled in Crewe earlier this month by the dedicated team of seven people, who between them have a combined experience of 105 years building Bentley’s iconic V8 engine.
In production for more than 60 years, and with the same configuration and bore spacing as the very first version from 1959, the last L-Series engine will spend its life powering the 30th and last specially commissioned Mulsanne 6.75 Edition by Mulliner. This bespoke series closes the Mulsanne’s production run, and celebrates the life of its iconic engine with a myriad of V8-inspired details including badging, blueprint graphics and even ventilation “organ stops” featuring a miniature version of the oil cap.
2020 GT-R NISMO Features Improved Aerodynamics and Lightweight Carbon Parts
The 2020 Nissan GT-R NISMO continues to be all about total balance, with improved carbon fiber application to reduce weight, increase downforce and enhance aerodynamics – all providing a faster and more exciting drive. From race-proven turbochargers, improved gearbox shift control, lighter components and reduced overall mass to upgrades to the brakes, wheels and tires, every component contributes to a 2.5-second reduction in lap time around Nissan’s development track.
The improved aerodynamics of the 2020 GT-R NISMO is due to its new lightweight carbon fibre parts and new front fender vents. The carbon fibre fender vents feature carefully designed fins that allow for optimal airflow, cooling hot air from the engine and providing exceptional downforce to the front tires, reducing drag coefficient.
Other new carbon fibre parts include the hood, roof, side sill covers, and trunk and rear spoiler, resulting in a total weight savings of 10.5 kilograms. The biggest contributor comes from a change in materials used in the brake rotors themselves to a carbon and silicon carbide structure, allowing for a 16.3 kilogram drop in unsprung weight of the car.
