Ale Zadjali’s long tryst with this column space whistles to a stop with a review of Cats movie and a quick peek into his fashion favourites
I’ve spent two days zoning in and out of what topic to choose for this column! I wanted to tackle different topics in fashion: how to dress for the Pussycat Dolls concert in 2020 (can you tell that I’m excited for their comeback?), or even something simple like a trend… However, every time I write something, all I end up talking about is how incredibly terrible the ‘Cats’ movie was.
Star-studded cast, incredible budget and promo…but, honestly, Cats was one of the worst movies of all times! Even if I wanted to highlight a fashion moment (Judi Dench in the fur coat) all I’d be able to focus on is that on face she’s playing a cat, but has her wedding ring on for half the scenes…
Cats was such a big failure that it’s actually all I can think of, BUT I will say that it did give us ‘Beautiful Ghosts’ by Taylor Swift and Jennifer Hudson’s cover of ‘Memory.’ Those may not be redeeming factors, but they’re worth the download!
I also want to take this time to say that this is officially my final column for FACES magazine… for now!
