The Pantone colour of 2020 is…Classic Blue!
You know what Pantone is, right? Both the annoying logo colour requests I keep being asked about and the global colour authority… Every year they reveal the ‘colour of the year’, and 2020’s was just announced. And it is Classic Blue.
It was inspired by my hair colour…earlier this year.
The Classic Blue is exciting, mainly because pairing it with silver reminds me of space suits, and, once upon a time, 2020 was referred to as ‘the future’, and I’m still weirded out by the fact that we’re mere days away from it.
How exactly do you wear this shade best? Well, for starters it’s the colour of the union flag, and, if you think you’re Geri Halliwell, you can rock a union dress too!
On a serious note, the colour Classic Blue is best in simplicity. Wear it as such – I mean who hasn’t worn it with white at one point or the other? And, if some of you haven’t, then do so, or pair it with gold!
