Jotun announces 2019 colour trends
Jotun Paints Oman launched its 2019 Colour Trends collection at Muscat Bay, recently. Developed by Jotun colour specialists over a year and incorporating on the insights of a global network of colour-trend researchers, the latest edition of colour trends explores colours that reflect distinct lifestyles in an urban environment. The collection embraces 28 colours defining homes around the globe for the coming year. This year’s colour card is designed to create practical colour combinations with an easy-to-use tool. This tool allows users to easily identify complementary shades within a single colour family, or create harmonious colour variations in the same space. All colours and textures featured as part of Jotun’s 2019 colour trends are now available across all the Jotun stores in the region.
OMRAN hands over management of Harat Al Bilad heritage site
Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN) announced the official handover of the management of Harat Al Bilad heritage site in Wilyat Manah to local Omani firm Reconstruction of Traditional Architecture, which has recently been appointed to run the operations of this historic landmark and support the growth of domestic and international tourism in the Sultanate. The site handover ceremony was held during an official tour to Harat Al Bilad by Peter Walichnowski, Chief Executive Officer of OMRAN and executives from both companies. Harat Al-Bilad in Wilayat Manah is considered as one of Oman’s most popular and oldest historical sites. It dates back to the 5th Islamic (Hijri) century and has been preserved well by previous generations.
