This upcoming superhero film, based on the Marvel Comics character Deadpool, is the eleventh installment in the X-Men film series; it is a sequel to the 2016 film, Deadpool. The film is based on the script by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Ryan Reynolds, with Reynolds starring in the title role.
The film follows the fortunes of cafeteria chef, Wade Wilson, who is disfigured after surviving a near fatal bovine attack. He struggles to fulfil his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender, while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavour. He finds a new taste for adventure and earns the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.

Show Dogs stars a charming cast of talking canine characters, including Max (voiced by Ludacris), a rugged lone-wolf Rottweiler NYPD police dog. Max and his human FBI partner (Will Arnett) are investigating the kidnapping of a baby panda by an underground network of illegal animal traders when they get a tip that the crime ring is planning to sell the panda at the prestigious Canini Invitational Dog Show. Max goes through a makeover to go undercover to thwart the plot.
