Dentsu Aegis partners with Media 21

Dentsu Aegis Network MENA has announced the appointment of a new partner in Oman. Media 21(M21) will be the exclusive DAN partner in the country, and take responsibility for all agency services, including media planning and buying, creative, digital and social media, events and media production for Dentsu Aegis Network clients in Oman going forward. Together, the partnership will offer enhanced communications solutions to help marketers holistically transform their businesses at speed and scale. M21 is a full service agency with dedicated digital, advertising, events and publishing divisions, and was founded in 2007 in Dubai to focus on the growing Omani media market. The existing team will be led by Rajesh Raman, Managing Director of M21 and supported by a team of 22 qualified professionals from its offices in Dubai and Muscat. Speaking of the partnership, Raman said, “This really is an exciting time for our team and is a sign that a global player in the media space sees Oman as a market worthy of a significant presence and investment.”

Danube Home has opened doors to a new store in Oman’s Sohar district. The Grand Opening Ceremony was attended by H.E. Sheikh Ali Ahmed Mashari Al Shamshi, Wali of Oman, as well as the senior management of Danube Group, including Founder-Rizwan Sajan, Managing Director- Anis Sajan and Director-Adel Sajan. Located opposite Safeer Mall, the new Danube Home store spans an area of 54000 square feet and provides customised solutions across its iconic categories – Living: sofas, bedrooms, chandeliers, home decorations, dinner ware, glassware, bedding, fragrances; Bath: shattafs, mixers, bathroom accessories, massage bathtubs, saunas, bathroom tiles; and Garden & outdoor: balcony sets, rattan furniture, gazebos, swings, kids play range.

with Lufthansa. Under the new agreement, guests on Oman Air can connect to 59 destinations across Europe and North America from Lufthansa’s Frankfurt and Munich hubs on an interline basis. At the same time, Lufthansa will codeshare with Oman Air on Oman Air operated services from both Frankfurt and Munich to Muscat, allowing their guests to experience the hospitality and outstanding service of Oman Air. In order to provide Oman Air’s guests with a seamless travel experience while connecting in Frankfurt and Munich, Oman Air will be moving terminals in Frankfurt to the Lufthansa operated terminals in Frankfurt terminal 1 and Munich terminal 2. It will also be re-timing its current services to Frankfurt to arrive and depart Frankfurt during the morning to facilitate connections in Frankfurt to Europe and North America in under three hours.
