Endemage Autumn Winter 2017

The Endemage Autumn Winter 2017 is out. The new collection of Endemage is rich with juxtapositions: the feminine with the masculine; the ornamental with the functional; the light with the dark. The result is a Middle East-centric Autumn Winter collection that exudes confidence and modernism.

The womenswear brand captures the artisanal influence of Oman – inspired by the country’s craftsmanship and heritage, in particular by traditional menswear, such as the musar and dishdasha, which feature colourful hand embroidery in the Autumn Winter collection.

Edemage’s rich and eclectic spirit infuses high-neck ruffled tops, sleek trousers with pleated frills and tailored outerwear, which takes on a mannish appeal with its subtly oversized cut. Meanwhile, the label’s signature dresses feature sequins, metallic accents and peek-a-boo embroidery. A floor-skimming soft nude evening gown is reinvented with a detachable tulle overskirt, while a strapless velvet midi is styled over a billowing blouse.

The sisters behind Endemage are Lubna and Nadia Al Zakwani with the former’s time in ESMOD Dubai fueling their vision to create innovative pieces centered on refreshingly revamped and contemporary looks without forgetting their heritage and culture.

Born out of the minds of Omani sister Lubna and Nadia, Endemage focuses on revolutionizing the world of high-end women’s wear and Arab fashion. Meaning “the merging of two”, Endemage embodies ethnic chic and luxury through a range of ultra-feminine dresses, billowy evening gowns and Arabic designs as well as on-trend separates created using flowing chiffons and silks, embroidered with hand-stitching detailing, reminiscent of old Omani patterns.

While their work is intrinsically tied to their heritage and culture, Endemage is forging a new path for Middle Eastern fashion through an edgy, modern take on upscale dressing, which shines through each silhouette balanced out with feminine touches and a subtle nod to their proud Arabian heritage.
