The FleurBurger 5000, created by Chef Hubert Keller at the Fleur restaurant, is said to be the most expensive burger in the world making it to our list of exotic gourmet. The burger is made of Wagyu beef, foie gras, shaved black truffles and truffle sauce. It is served on a brioche truffle bun and is accompanied by a bottle of vintage bubbly drink.

Guinness World Record 24K Pizza

The Guinness World Record 24K Pizza, crafted by New York City’s Industry Kitchen, is, as the name suggests, the most expensive commercially available pizza in the world. The pizza is topped with Stilton cheese, foie gras, platinum osetra caviar, truffles, and 24-carat gold leaf. Diners can opt for an additional half-ounce of almas caviar on this exotic gourmet for an extra charge of $700. However, the restaurant requires a 48 hour notice if one wants to order this expensive pizza.

Zillion Dollar Lobster Frittata

This dish is called the ‘Zillion Dollar Lobster Frittata’ for a reason. It is the world’s most expensive egg dish, whipped up at Norma’s, one of New York City’s popular eateries making to our list of exotic gourmet. The frittata contains six eggs, the meat of a whole lobster and 10 ounces of sevruga caviar, which is one of the highest priced varieties of caviar. Introduced in 2004, the dish costs $1,000, but is also available with one ounce of caviar, which brings the cost down to $100.

Golden Opulence Sundae

The Golden Opulence Sundae is served by special order at the New York City’s restaurant Serendipity 3. It was first created in 2005 to celebrate the restaurant’s 50th anniversary. Listed by Guinness World Records as the most expensive Sundae, it contains three scoops of Tahitian vanilla bean ice cream that is infused with Madagascar vanilla and covered in 23-carat gold leaf; it also has chocolate syrup made with Amedei Porcelana, one of the world’s most expensive chocolates; chunks of rare Venezuelan Chuao chocolate; candied fruits from Paris; gold-covered almonds; chocolate truffles; marzipan cherries; a small bowl of unsalted caviar infused with passion fruit, orange, and Armagnac; and edible gold leaf. The restaurant requires a 48-hour advance notice, as the ingredients are sourced from different parts of the world.

La Madeleine au Truffle

Created by Master chocolatier Fritz Knipschildt, the La Madeleine au Truffle is the most expensive chocolate truffle in the world. Involving a seven-step process, the truffle contains chocolate ganache made from 71 percent Valrhona dark chocolate, French Perigord truffle, and truffle oil. Each piece of the chocolate is presented on a bed of faux pearls in a silver box tied with a bow.

Price: $1,000 (for four truffles)

Decadence D’Or cupcake

The Decadence D’Or cupcake is made with Venezuelan chocolate (prized $100 a pound) and topped with 24-carat gold flakes and gold caviar. It is accompanied by a hand-blow sugar crown, filled with a bubbly that costs $2,500 per bottle. The cake is made from Palmira Single Estate chocolate, which was developed by Valrhona, a French chocolatier. It is richly frosted and is treated with Tahitian Gold vanilla caviar, which comes from hand-pollinated and harvested vanilla.

Price: $750 (for one cupcake)
