ROHM Announces Season 2019-2020
Expect a great season with more than 100 curtain raises on the stages of Royal Opera House Muscat and House of Musical Arts, featuring a new ROHM production of Die Zauberflöte, two new ROHM co-productions, three operas for children and families and great orchestras and artists from the Western and Arab world. Georges Bizet’s Carmen opens the season with the original grand sets from ROHM’s specially commissioned production for the season in 2011. The new season brings four additional operas – ‘The Story of Kai and Gerda’, ‘La Bohème’, ‘Anna Bolena’ and ‘Die Zauberflöte’. After its acclaimed premiere in Muscat in March 2019, ROHM’s co-production of ‘Lakmé’will go on tour, travelling first to the ‘National Centre for Performing Arts, Beijing’,with performances between the 4th and 11th of April 2020.
Omran officially opens W Muscat
Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN) formally announced the official opening of the W Hotel Muscat, last month.
