I just turned 25 and maybe I’m being overdramatic, but it’s a big turning point in my life. I’m ready to take on more challenges and changes that I avoided, or got people to convince me out of them previously.
There is something enlightening about it, whether it’s the constant stares, the constant need to find creative ways to hide it at work or the perfect illusion of thinking I look like Ally from ‘A Star is Born’; it’s just a thrill!
This is my tip! Do a drastic change; whether it’s highlighted in the hair or getting your lips done, as long as it’s something you always wanted to do. Let’s be more adventurous, as long as it doesn’t get us in trouble.
To misquote Lady Gaga “there could be 100 people in a room and 99 don’t believe in you(r change), but you just need one that does” – make that one you, and embrace it.
