Chloé’s Fall Winter 2019 collection, titled ‘Love, Nature & Commitment’ is stirred by the self-exploration, unbridled emotion, femininity and pioneering spirit of the modern woman
Combining the volatility of love, passion and commitment, Natacha Ramsay-Levi explores the intimate landscapes of the heart in Chloé’s Fall Winter 2019 collection, titled ‘Love, Nature & Commitment’.
Equestrian and naval regalia are reclaimed in the designs, and the palette has pale Chloé neutrals contrasting with tones of the Tundra, while playing hot and cold in shades of navy, petrol, indigo, dusty pink and cornflower blue.
Focusing on form and fabric, outerwear is decked in fitted redingote or cape shapes, open kilt skirts, and slim, high-waisted flares. Long-sleeved ruffled blouses in Tattersall cotton and blooming jacquards, with ‘C’ lace cuffs are layered with raw denim or mariner’s coats and capes in smooth leathers or shearling-trimmed wool. Flounced shirt dresses appear in wallpaper jacquards and knitwear and wrap skirts in Lurex argyle.
Mixed-media jewels encompass ombré resin amulets and cuffs. Footwear includes square-toed ankle boots on stacked heels, inlaid with piped leather, checks and ribbed knit. The belted Aby Chain Bag, in embossed leathers and soft calfskin is joined by the Aby Padlock clutch in stamped croc, while the ‘C’ and Tess shapes return in two-toned ombré leathers.
