For Spring/Summer 2018, Maison Mayshad* introduces new handbags and original materials that will personalise one’s look in the feminine and empowering Mayshad style. Through continuous travels and exchanges with inspiring women, Nezha Alaoui captures their dreams and needs and materializes them into desirable bags and accessories. The inspiration for SS18 is the glowing Moroccan desert, which, as a space, is a regular and fond memory of Creative Director, Nezha Alaoui.
Mayshad Paris has designed many different pieces within the collection, to ensure there is something for every woman this summer, whatever the occasion.
The Timeless Bag: Available in small and large, ‘The Timeless Bag’ is comfortable to carry around for daily routines. It is made from all natural calf leather and its style exudes Parisian elegance. For SS18, Mayshad Paris presents The Timeless Bag in up to five different colours, including denim, all perfectly suited for vibrant summer days.
The Precious Purse: A hybrid of the Timeless Bag and Statement Purse, ‘The Precious Purse’ is perfect for a stylish summer’s day out. The piece is a medium sized square shape and boasts many internal pockets. The Precious can be worn in two ways due to its adjustable chain, across the body or over the shoulder and the finishing touch is a golden hexagonal turn to lock clasp.
The Statement Purse: The ‘Be Who You Want to Be’ Statement Purse is for the strong and independent women of the world. A woman who carries the statement purse has the courage to live freely yet respectfully, whilst ensuring they pursue who they want to be. For SS18, the Statement Purse is available in five colours and boasts new materials such as textured canvas and denim. The purse can also be converted to an over the shoulder bag through a golden chain and vice versa, such can disappear into the bag allowing it to be held as a clutch.
The Panier Bag: The Panier bag is a comfortable and relaxed summer shape directly inspired by traditional Moroccan baskets. Shoulder or hand carried and closed with a zipper, The Panier will be your partner for shopping and leisure activities. For this piece, Maison Mayshad selected a textured canvas to materialize the soft sand of the desert and give The Panier its distinctive character.
The SS18 Ogive Key Ring: The SS18 Key Ring is one of many accessories that Mayshad Paris has produced for SS18, alongside the Mayshad Card Holder and Zipped Clutch. The SS18 Key Ring will be available in numerous colours to complement any outfit, including black, beige, burgundy, olive and pink.
