MG Motor has revealed a new special Black edition of its popular seven-seater SUV the MG RX8 in the Middle East. The MG RX8 Black Edition introduces a bolder, more assertive look to the range, with a raft of all-black interior and exterior style changes in comparison to other RX8 models. Customers can now purchase the car from the MG distributor in their area. The Black Edition model confidently displays a sleek, stylish black exterior look, that makes it stand apart from other models in the range. The bold new look is supplemented by black side mirror covers, side mouldings, door handles and roof rails, and rounded off by the Black Edition badge and black chrome finish exhaust and bumper at the rear.
Nissan brings innovation to ‘Race to Zero’
Nissan has announced that it has joined the Race to Zero campaign supported by the United Nations, accelerating the company’s full electrification and carbon neutrality goals. Nissan is the first Japanese automaker to join the campaign. Nissan also signed the campaign’s Business Ambition for a 1.5°C commitment, aligning Nissan with the goal to keep global temperature rise to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels. Nissan has joined the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), a requirement for participation in the campaign. Nissan’s well below 2°C carbon reduction targets have been validated by the SBTi, ensuring that they are aligned to climate science.
Lotus reveals all-new Emira GT4 contender
Lotus, one of the most famous names in world motorsport, has revealed an all-new competition-spec GT4 challenger and at its core is the critically acclaimed Emira sports car.
The culmination of more than 70 years of innovation on the road and track, it marks the start of an exciting new era in performance GT racing for Lotus. MC20 wins ‘Product Design of the Year’
The MC20 has received the award for ‘Product Design of the Year’ 2021 from the European Product Design Award. The new Maserati super sports car also was honoured with “Top Design Winner” in Transportation/Auto/Truck/Mobile Home and “Winner” in Transportation/Other Transportation Design categories. The European Product Design Award is a design competition created to recognize the efforts of talented international product designers. Thousands of design projects from every corner of the globe are vetted and evaluated by the jury panel to select the most aesthetically exciting, functional, and innovative products. MC20, designed by the Centro Stile Maserati in Turin, is a mix of elegance and sporting prowess.
