MGM Launches New Mazaya Card Programme
Mazaya Grand Advantage Card Programme, the most recent customer loyalty programme in the Sultanate, was formally launched by Muscat Grand Mall, under the patronage of H.E. Nasser bin Khamis Al Gashmi, Undersecretary of Ministry of Finance, at a formal event held at the Grand Millennium Muscat.
The Mazaya Grand Advantage Card is a reloadable gift card that can be topped-up at any time and can be used for payments across all participating merchants. Through the new programme, once a customer’s new Mazaya Grand Advantage Card has been activated online, they will be able to enjoy several attractive discounts offers from MGM, Al Madina Takaful, Grand Millennium Hotel, and Millennium Executive Apartments, as well as a cash-back gift on property purchases from Al Madina Real Estate.
UFC Gym Oman Shines
Wawan Sport Night, held in Kuwait recently, saw the team from Oman winning a bouquet of medals in three major events
UFC Gym Oman team walked off with a number of medals at the Wawan Sport Night, held in Kuwait, making history of sorts. Risto Dimitrov, Mixed Martial Arts Coach of UFC GYM Oman, competed in all the three – Judo, Jiu Jitsu and Grappling – events and won Gold in Grappling and Silver in Jiu Jitsu – both in his weight category.
Coach Taoufik of UFC GYM participated in Jiu Jitsu and Grappling and Amaar Al Barwani, a UFC GYM student, participated in his first ever Judo competition. While Coach Taoufik won Gold in Jiu Jitsu in his category and Silver each in Grappling in Absolute Division as well as in his division, Amaar won silver in Judo, becoming the first Omani to win a Judo medal in international competition.
The competition attracted contestants from all over the GCC, UK, USA, Brazil and others.
