Vinodhini Krishnamoorthy, an Indian expatriate based in Muscat, was crowned Mrs. India Worldwide International 2018, at a gala event held in Greece recently. She also bagged the Mrs. Travelite 2018 subtitle.
Vinodhini was shortlisted among 3000 applicants globally. After rounds of auditions, she secured her place in the top 50, marking her first step towards the Mrs. India Worldwide International 2018 pageant.
Speaking about her triumph in the beauty pageant, Vinodhini said, “My real journey began with the semi-finals in Greece, which was a life-changing experience with lots of challenges. Those six months acted as a strong pillar in my transformation – both personally and professionally. Then came my moment of glory… I was crowned as Mrs. India Worldwide International 2018 from among the top 10 stunning contestants.”
South India born Zumba instructor started her modelling career at the age of 16. She has since walked more than 70 ramps, in India as well as on an international level, including the glamorous Kingfisher Fashion Week and premium designer labels like Manish Malhotra and Rocky S.
She is a passionate traveller and believes in empowering people, especially women, wherever she goes. Being a mother did not hinder her from living life on her terms and today she stands tall with her never-give-up attitude and a strong sense of self-motivation that have played a pivotal role in encouraging her to showcase her talent on an international platform like that of Mrs. India worldwide.
