Oman LNG renews support for Golf Oman. Oman LNG has extended their support to the Oman Golf Committee, the governing body of golf in Oman, for another year.
Since the Oman Golf Committee’s inception in 2009, Oman LNG has supported their youth development programme every year. 2017 has already seen the launch of several initiatives with a heavy focus on Junior Development.
Following a recent visit by Tony Bennett who was commissioned by the R&A to understand the golfing market of Oman and recommend initiatives, the Oman Committee will soon launch new tee boxes on every course and a school education programme through Oman LNG’s partnership. Speaking the occasion the Chairman of the Oman Golf Committee, Mundhir Al Barwani commented, “Golf in Oman has grown considerably in the last 8 years and this would not be possible without the support from our Partners.”
Oman Air sponsors six employees to perform Hajj
Oman Air announced the names of six employees who will be receiving the airline’s assistance to perform this year’s Hajj. This draw, granting staff the opportunity to visit the
Holy city of Mecca and to perform Hajj is in recognition of the hard work and dedication of staff, who have assisted Oman Air in achieving its remarkable progress.
In the presence of Abdulrahman Al Busaidy, Deputy CEO and Chief Commercial Officer, Asma Al Ghabshi, Executive Vice President Human Resources, and a number of staff, the names of the employees to be sponsored by the Company to perform Hajj this year were drawn. Besides the six winners, a further six staff were also drawn for the waiting list. This invitation reflects Oman Air’s appreciation of the efforts of its employees; the airline considers its human resources as its greatest assets.
A’Saffa Food’s Digital Media campaign
A’Saffa Foods’ latest digital media campaign, ‘Sufrat A’Saffa’, is receiving rave reviews on the brand’s digital media platforms.
The participating restaurants have shot the videos themselves – in each video, the restaurant’s executive chefs explain the reasons that their restaurants prefer cooking using A’Saffa Chicken, as well as demonstrate the making of their restaurant’s signature recipe using A’Saffa chicken.
