Shell Oman expands with five new Integrated Service Stations

Shell Oman Marketing Company S.A.O.G. has signed an agreement with the Ministry of Housing in the presence of H.E. Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al-Shabibi, Minister of Housing, and Dr. Mohammed Mahmood Al Balushi, Chief Executive Officer of Shell Oman Marketing Company. As per the agreement, Shell Oman has been awarded a bid to build an integrated service station on Batinah Expressway. The Company has also announced that it will invest in three more service stations on Batinah Expressway as well as one service station on Adam-Thumrait Highway via strategic joint ventures and dealership models with Omani partners. The five new state-of-the-art service stations, each with a 30,000sqm area, will leverage Shell Oman’s unique access to cutting-edge technical expertise and knowhow from Shell Global, while bringing together a team of Omani engineers from Shell Oman to develop the design in collaboration with an Omani SME.

Al Mouj Muscat’s Ghadeer Villas  

Al Mouj Muscat is experiencing a strong demand for its latest launch of new homes, Ghadeer Villas. The Integrated Tourism Complex (ITC) revealed the new neighbourhood of three- and four-bedroom family homes, with customers having already purchased more than 50 percent of the initially released homes. Positioned between Al Mouj Muscat’s apartments and townhouses at one end of the scale, and the larger luxury villas at the upper end, Ghadeer Villas’ deliver an exceptional mix of quality and value. The main living areas, including lounge, dining and kitchen, are arranged in on open-plan space that brings families together – but there is also a smaller second living room so that parents and children can have their own space when needed.  

Bank Muscat’s new al Mazyona Mid-year draw

Bank Muscat is celebrating the growing savings culture in the country with a special mid-year al Mazyona savings prize draw. The special draw will reward 54 lucky winners with high-value prizes ranging from OMR 10,000 to OMR 250,000. Speaking about the Bank’s push to increase the savings habit in the country, Abdullah Tamman Al Mashani, DGM – Institutional Sales and Product Development, said: “For over 25 years, al Mazyona has rewarded numerous customers and enriched their lives. Continuing with the tradition, Bank Muscat is proud to start a new mid-year al Mazyona draw with over RO 1.5 million on offer.” The draw includes two special prizes of OMR 250,000 each, two special prizes of OMR 100,000 each reserved for Asalah Priority Banking customers and two special prizes of OMR 50,000 each reserved for Al Jawhar customers.

Kempinski Hotel Muscat supports orphans   

Kempinski Hotel Muscat supported the Al Khair Waafi charity event in partnership with a group of local entrepreneurs, to raise funds for orphaned children across the Sultanate. As the ‘Official Hospitality Sponsor’, the hotel hosted the event at the Muscat Ballroom where 35 businesses exhibited and sold various consumer items to visitors, with 100 percent of proceeds going towards orphans during Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha. The event was organised in cooperation with Al Rahma Association for Motherhood and Child Welfare, Omani Bahja Orphan Society, and Dar Al Atta’a, raising OMR 126,742 for 3,420 orphans.
