Sundus Rotana has announced that it is in the final stage of preparations to open its doors in Muscat this November. Bringing decades of hospitality expertise to the Sultanate’s capital, the new upscale 4-star hotel will augment Rotana’s presence in Oman as part of its ambitious expansion strategy in the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and Eastern Europe.

The new hotel is the second property for Rotana in Oman, after the opening of Salalah Rotana Resort in early 2014, bringing up the total number of Rotana keys in the Sultanate to 615.
The 2017 Spartan Race

‘Feel the Beat’
As a part of a wellness initiative in partnership with Sultan Qaboos University Hospital and Sobeh Medical Center, City Centre Muscat, Al Mouj Muscat and City Centre Qurum have launched ‘Feel the Beat’ to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease. Now in its third year, the initiative aims to raise awareness about cardiovascular health, with a special focus on women in the Sultanate. City Centre Muscat, Al Mouj Muscat and City Centre Qurum will have allocated areas to host medical professionals who will administer complimentary heart health tests and conduct check-ups for women. At each designated location, visitors will be able to check their blood pressure, blood sugar and Body Mass Index (BMI) to determine if they are at risk of heart diseases and if they would require a follow-up consultation for further analysis. Medical experts will be at Al Mouj Muscat, the Walk, on September 29 -30, City Centre Muscat on October 5 – 6 and City Centre Qurum on October 13 – 14 to administer these tests.
