Ebörd Solar Powered Smart Table
The smart coffee table was unveiled by Spanish start-up Proton New Energy Future. The Ebörd has a wireless charger built into its entire surface, with about 50 charging coils, and can charge up to four devices, placed anywhere on the top, at a time! How does it work? The table’s surface is photovoltaic which allows it to harness sun or even artificial light and store it in a 10Ah battery. It uses the Qi charging platform which works with the recent generations of iPhones and Android devices; and for devices that aren’t directly supported, the Ebörd is also equipped with two adapters.
