It is pretty easy to come up with a beauty resolution if you equate good looks with skincare – the crux of any beauty regimen! But, I am not referring to all those products that promise to keep your skin feeling and looking young and supple. My beauty resolution is about inculcating a few easy steps to complement my gym time.
If you are ready, here they are:
1. Stretch and move your neck muscles to ease the tension around your neck area. It may not seem like a beauty task, but when you constantly bend your neck to check your phone or use your computer, your neck could get deep age lines that belie your facial beauty.
2. Make facial massage a part of your everyday moisturising session. Instead of simply slathering your face with cream or moisturiser, use your fingers to dot the cream and then gently rub it into your face.
3. Whether you are thirsty or not, drink enough water to hydrate your skin. A plain glass of water is the most hydrating drink for the body. What are you waiting for? Reach for that glass!
4. Do not forget your beauty sleep. A good night’s sleep will do wonders to your skin and body. Slather on a night cream on your face before sleeping to wake up with radiant skin in the morning.
5. And, while on sleep, do not ever sleep with the makeup on, even if you are completely exhausted.
