Participants will have a wide variety of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy during the event, including live music, a treasure hunt, star gazing and special rates at the Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort and Spa’s Al Tanoor restaurant. Special Earth Hour t-shirts will also be sold and the Revenue generated from the sales of the shirts will go towards supporting awareness campaigns launched by ESO.
In addition to the event, ESO will be launching a media campaign over the month of March to raise awareness of the issue of climate change and promote everyday actions to benefit the environment. ESO is inviting everyone in Oman to switch off and join together in observing Earth Hour 2017. They will be supported by the Royal Opera House Muscat and the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque once more.
